[8]If thou followest righteousness, thou shalt obtain her, and put her on, as a glorious long robe.

Sin like a lion
for me waits
Like prey
But like a humble
Child
For You Father I wait
And pray
To see the darts that come for me
To discern the temptations
That are designed for me
To overcome my strongholds
So they have no hold on me
So like Your perfect Son I can be
Clothed with Your Holy Spirit
Giving You the glory
So I follow Your righteousness
Step by step
Like golden puzzle pieces
Your precepts
I collect
And place them in my heart
Buried deep
As they complete me
And the more Your righteousness
I chase after
The more I obtain her
And put her on
As a glorious robe
She gives me a shimmer
And glow
Wherever I go
To some I am beautiful
And to some I am blinding
But this truth I am finding
That it
Depends on who they serve
For Your word
Is an acquired taste
Sweet to the mouth
And gives the tummy pain
And only the pure
Will be able to endure
That’s why it is time to make our election sure
For Sin
like a lion
for us waits

And when we hear Him
Walk by Faith
Along His Sons way
The righteous way
Holding our two weapons
With the power of the Holy Spirit
Always ready to slay
Any demons we face
