Today, was a beautiful day. Full of Gods abundant grace.  This post is for Monday and it is late. But that is what happens when you have a full day , This post is late because I spent the rest of tonight at a Poetry Slam. It was my first time attending a slam. And it was so exciting .

     I wanted to see how it was to be surrounded by people who had the same passion as me it was amazing. It was a packed house full of all different sorts of people. And all the poets had different stories and attitudes. It hurt to know some of them did not view themselves as beautiful the way God made them . It also hurt that some of them did not know the truth of Jesus Christ. It hurt the most when someone called Himself a God. But the first rule to appreciate and respect someone’s spoken word in my book is to not be offended by someone else’s art, or writing and so I just listened. And didn’t judge. But listened and supported them in being brave and putting their arts and talents and stories out on the line for the world to see which took courage and bravery!

          And I began to ask God where does He place me in all this should I try out for the next slam? Should I stick to my Christian spoken word community? Should I just write and never do the video or anything verbal?

                I suppose time will tell! And God will tell me. The first step was making sure my blog is consistent, my writing is consistent and my faith and walk is consistent and the opportunities to share His love and truth will open in His perfect timing according to His perfect will. Until then all I need to do is Chill……and write….and pray….and be obedient, faithfully
