I didn’t ask for this life

I didn’t ask for this pain

Each trial

Each fall

All the guilt

All the shame

Causes me to say

Abba Father

Please help me Father

Here is your daughter in need

Abba Father

Please help me father

Take this cup away from me

But if by any chance

This is in your plans

According to your will

Then I cry Abba Father

Strengthen me Father

And cause my heart to be still

Stop the wavering , stop the doubts

I pray you fill the mind with peace right now ,

of your unworthy daughter
