Not a long post today was a good day with quality time with my family . It was also a blessing to spend the time serving at a womens shelter. When ever I can I alongside other women from my church serve dinner and dessert to the women at this shelter. And it blesses us to bless them. God told me a while ago to begin giving bookmarks every time I go . So when I go I write an original poem for the women. They never have the same poem/prayer twice . I usually write it the day of , so that it can be fresh from the heart and the holy spirit.

   Today I was told more than once from one of the women that they have been collecting the bookmarks. They enjoy them. It was so encouraging , to know that they are making an impact. Writing is not only my talent it is my heart, my vulnerability my passion. It matters to me the impact of what I write and when I was reminded today of the impact , I praised God for the opportunity to pour into these ladies and be a light to them.

    This was not about me this was about them, this was about Gods loving shinning through me unto them and it was such a blessing to know that through the time they have felt the love , the love God has poured into me , and has overflowed into these  poems . And I pray God will always work on me and in me to bring an encouraging word , a cutting word, a fervent mighty word to His people , in His appointed time, according to His perfect will and for His amazing Glory.
