Life is short 

But love is long 

And even though your gone

It’s still stands strong 

And my father says 

We will meet again 

So I will love until then 

Until I see you again 

And since I  have my breathe 

I have work to do 

And though yours is done 

I’ll never forget you 

And as the sun goes down 

Your memories come up 

And as the sun comes up 

My tears will dry up 

And I’ll remember each moment 

I was blessed to live by your side 

And praise God for the seasons 

You were in my life 

And though I can’t hold your hand 

You still hold my heart 

Along with the Lord and other loved ones I’ve lost 

And if  I’ve learned one thing 

Loving you 

It is  that 

Time is short 

but love is long 

And even though your gone 

Our love still stands strong
