How dare you come into my life
And act like you don’t belong here
And how dare you look at me that way
And act like you don’t know how I feel
How dare you care
How dare you love
How dare you smile
How dare you touch
And not expect me
To have expectations
And not expect me to expect
You to stay and
Not be hurt
Or confused
When you leave with no clue
How dare you
How dare you
Come into my life
And act like you don’t belong here
How dare me , not realize the difference between
Meant to me , eternally
And meant to be temporarily
And that people are seasons
And most leave with no reason
How dare I
Not realize
Who has been there all this time
And will never leave me
Because He is the root of me
My God
