Father in heaven 

I praise 

You 

Father in heaven 

For the Sabbath 

For a covenant 

That is everlasting 

This world is ever changing 

But your word is everlasting 

Your Sabbath 

From the beginning of time 

Was established 

As it is done on this earth 

You too are resting 

In the heavens 

And those of us 

Who have the honor 

To observe this day 

We praise you 

For this is one step closer 

To perfection 

Doing as our 

Redeemer 

And savior 

Christ did 

On earth and 

Does in heaven 

Observing
