I believe 

The words 

Written on the pages 

Of the Bible 

For they are written on my heart 

I will lift my hands unto 

The Most High God 

And sing your praises 

For you are gracious 

I have seen you deliver 

The ones who hated you 

I’ve seen you bless the ones 

You loved you 

On those pages 

Are my history

Are lessons 

For me 

Know 

In which way I can please 

You 

And anger you 

For my endgame

Is to do please you 

Not anger you 

My Father in heaven 

You are merciful 

And gracious 

For delivering me from my flesh

And this world 

I give you praises 

I believe
