💙1 Samuel 15:22

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams….


Oh Most High God
I come with this contrite heart
I have no lamb
In my hands ,
For Christ was the last
There is no other sacrifice
That could compare to Your Son Christ ,
I know You know that better than I
So I come with a heart
Full of repentance
Zealous in submission
Faithfull in obedience
Loyal and devoted
I want to hear You Lord !
I want to hear that voice !
I want that thunder in my mind
I want that whisper in my heart
I will do whatever You say
I trust Your will and Your ways !
I delight in all Your commandments
I delight in Your law , but
I want to be Your delight , Most of all
So I have come with a contrite heart
Full of repentance
Hopefully for forgiveness
Seeking Your Kingdom of heaven and righteousness
Zealous in submission
Faithfull in obedience
Loyal and devoted
To You , in fervent fear ,
Your voice I want to hear
Make Your Vision clear ,
For I will do whatever You say
I trust Your will and Your ways !
I delight in all Your commandments
I delight in Your law , but
I want to be Your delight , Most of all
Faithfully 💕
