Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.


Its been a hard year
A hard week
A hard  day
So let me take
This minute
I’ma lift up
These prayers and praises
For the strength that I have
To remember the sabbath
and keep it holy
To still hope
In adversity
And to still love
Those who hate me
And  see in this darkness
The light that surrounds me
As I come
As whole as I can
With every strength I possess
To observe the sabbath
It is a covenant
A blessing 
A promise
And the paradise
I seek at the end of the week
Where I meet my King
My provider of peace
And He pours into me
And molds me
And gives me everything I need
To endure the next week
And this weeekend
I get double the rest
For it is a double sabbath
As we celebrate
The Feast
Of First Fruits
May use our gifts this sabbath
To walk in spirit and truth
With our tongues  and our hands
In prayers  and praises
That  we made it
Even though its been a hard year
A hard week
A hard  day
So let us  take
This minute
To remember the sabbath and keep it holy
And  lift up
These prayers and praises
To our Almighty King
Forever and Eternity
