I’ll meet you by the lake
I said, i’m straight,
he said…
wait
I gave him too much of my time
He owes me a dime
for every piece of my mind
That He corrupted with His lies
He wants my attention,
but I don’t crave his affection
I know he’s got nothing for me
but he’s pretty observant of me
And everyday He tries to get into my brain
I see the darts but He has no aim
I shoot em down with my arrows as I pray
Because His ways come at a cost
But my travel was already bought
And it’s just not worth the loss
Of the gain I have in Christ,
And the liberty I have through Him
To repent and have eternal life
So I do my best
Daily to turn from wickedness
and go The other way
But that was kind of hard today
I just sort of fell, tripped over a lump
but I jumped
back up
No one could tell except Him and my God
And before I could repent,
he said it

wait
You see He knows the old me well
He asked what about how you felt when you fell?
But what He couldnt tell,
Is I am a new creature
and conviction is a new feature
so when He asks Wasn’t it betta,
didn’t it comfort ya?
I said no, if it felt better,
I would have stayed down.
But I couldn’t, because today, I figured it out
my flesh may be weak, but my spirit is strong
The enemy can keep pushing me down ,
but I won’t drown.
That lake may look blue
but flames can be blue too
So
Don’t meet me anywhere
I’m straight on that narrow path
thats straight, so don’t wait for me.
I said, my God Ahayah , is greater than me. You see, he made that lake, he ONLY is great.
And only for him,
his son and
his holy spirit

Satan already knows His end
Whether we meet Him
Wont change His plans
But The Lord has a plan for us
Ending with peace for us
If we stay on that narrow way
By fervent faith that goes over the lake
Dont look down
Don’t let the enemy steal Your crown
Instead bow
Down to the Father
For those that worship Him now
We get to worship Him forever
Keep that in mind
The next time the enemy comes for ya
Dont even let Him say
