Matthew 6:6 KJV

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.


Father in heaven

In secret
I meet You
In my closet
I pray to You

As I shut the doors
Of my heart
To anyone but the Ahlahayam
And spend this time with You
This secret time with You

Lifting my heart up
Without even parting my lips
My praises and
Supplications
You hear them
My tears You catch them

This secret time with You



And no one is allowed here
Not the enemy
Not the inner me
This is between  my soul
And my King
For here in this secret place
He waits for me

And openly You bless  me
The enemy stays throwing  darts at me
But Your blessings  come  more speedily
Especially  Your daily dosage of joy and peace
As I meditate on matthew 6:9 through  15
